Nexteer Activates New 25-Acre Solar Field at Saginaw, Mich. Site; Celebrates Earth Week with New Renewable Energy Solution

SAGINAW, Mich. – April 25, 2024 Today, Nexteer Automotive announced that it has finalized installation of more than 17,000 solar panels at its USA Operations site in Saginaw, Mich. and officially turned on the solar field to start providing renewable energy to its site.

Nexteer’s Saginaw solar field, which was established in partnership with NorthStar Clean Energy, will reduce the Saginaw site’s operational costs through a renewable energy source with a fraction of the emissions compared to traditional sources.
